My Spring Breaks

Spring cleaning around here this week. Probably going to be next week too.....you see I'm trying to finish up a couple of furniture painting projects at the same time. I know, it's not that smart to combine the two but that's how it's working out. ( Will post about the projects soon) The cleaning part is not my favorite thing to do but I LOVE how everything looks and feels when it's done! It's an absolutely beautiful Spring day around here though, and I don't want to be inside ALL day so I'm thinking a girl needs a break to go sit at the park for a few minutes, watch the ducks, and just enjoy it all. So that's exactly where this girl will be when lunchtime comes around today. In the meantime I better get busy, hadn't I?

Today I'm linking with these great sites so be sure and stop by:

Hi There, Spring is the time to CLEAN.... I haven't started much of it yet since I love working in the yard MUCH more...

Good Luck with your 'projects'.... Hope you get everything done.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi-
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I am glad I then found yours, and I am now a follower.

To encourage my spring cleaning, I went out and bought sweet smelling cleaning products.

I enjoyed visiting,

Elaine,
Thanks for visiting my blog, commenting and following!
I wish I could just stay home and spring clean too! It's time to open up, clean out and freshen.
Now I'm going to look at the rest of it!

Great photo! The color of the water is so pretty! Been doing some cleaning myself this past week. There never seems to be enough time to get it all done but I do love how everything feels when its all spiffied up. What furniture are you painting? I just redid a couple of end tables for my guest bedroom and I'm so proud of myself. White, black, or a stain? Can't wait to see some photos. I need a blog I guess to post mine on....they look pretty good if I do say so myself. :)

Have a great rest of the week,
Ginny

Beautiful photo! I especially like how the blue mallard is silhouetted against the white duck. Nice shot!
