Since I got so many positive responses to last Monday's post, and requests to see more of my scrapbook pages , I thought I'd show a few more "blue" pages today.
Every year on the fourth of July we have a pool party, or go on a picnic, or do something that generally involves large crowds and lots of fireworks. Last year, 2008, was a little different. We wound up taking a long drive in the country, stopping by our favorite little General Store for lunch, and then.........well the pages tell the rest of the story......................
and then then rains came....................
(doesn't that sound like a great line from an old dramatic Hollywood epic?)

Honestly I love your scrapping style. I'm so glad you posted some more pages! I'm very new at digital scrapbooking and I'm busy learning the ropes. I'm trying to keep it simple because I have SO MANY PICTURES! Do you ever get behind and have to do a lot of catching up?
Great scrapbook pages. I need to get started back. I have boxes and boxes of pics. You just might inspire me!

I like this style of scrapping too. The fellow looks a bit like Jack Nicholson. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.
I enjoyed the story of your very unique 4th of July celebration ... yikes 104 degrees. I haven't felt that in many a year!
Petty blues!
Hope you had a great Blue Monday!

You are doing such a good job of keeping your memories. You will be so glad you did this many years from now.

Sounds like you have a great time come July 4th. Your pictures are great. I do need to do some scrapbooking myself.
Great scrap pages. I've always done regular paper scrapping and I love it but more and more of my friends are going digital. I like how yours turn out. They look like fun. Guess I need to start out doing the hybrid pages and go from there, huh? Anyway great post. I know it's not a scrapbooking sight but be sure to show us some more pages at least once in a while.
Now that was an eventful July 4th!!
Happy Blue Monday!

Yes! I enjoy your blog so much Elaine! You are the BEST blogger ever!!!! Love you!"
I agree! You are one fantastic blogger! Those blue toned pictures look so pretty, that's a very interesting technique. As to scrapping, I don't even want to go there, LOL! I would love it, I'm sure, but it just means another expense, another obsession! Hope you've had a wonderful weekend, Elaine!
I've left behind paper scrapping for the digital world. Thank you for more inspiration on your blue monday post. I hope your week was been well, that you have prospered and been in health.
I just read thru some of your old posts and I'm going to try both the rainbow cookies and the cinnamon ornaments. You have a wonderful blog.
