More Blue Scrappin"

Since I got so many positive responses to last Monday's post, and requests to see more of my scrapbook pages , I thought I'd show a few more "blue" pages today.
Every year on the fourth of July we have a pool party, or go on a picnic, or do something that generally involves large crowds and lots of fireworks. Last year, 2008, was a little different. We wound up taking a long drive in the country, stopping by our favorite little General Store for lunch, and then.........well the pages tell the rest of the story......................

and then then rains came....................

(doesn't that sound like a great line from an old dramatic Hollywood epic?)

Honestly I love your scrapping style. I'm so glad you posted some more pages! I'm very new at digital scrapbooking and I'm busy learning the ropes. I'm trying to keep it simple because I have SO MANY PICTURES! Do you ever get behind and have to do a lot of catching up?

I like this style of scrapping too. The fellow looks a bit like Jack Nicholson. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

I enjoyed the story of your very unique 4th of July celebration ... yikes 104 degrees. I haven't felt that in many a year!

Great scrap pages. I've always done regular paper scrapping and I love it but more and more of my friends are going digital. I like how yours turn out. They look like fun. Guess I need to start out doing the hybrid pages and go from there, huh? Anyway great post. I know it's not a scrapbooking sight but be sure to show us some more pages at least once in a while.

I agree! You are one fantastic blogger! Those blue toned pictures look so pretty, that's a very interesting technique. As to scrapping, I don't even want to go there, LOL! I would love it, I'm sure, but it just means another expense, another obsession! Hope you've had a wonderful weekend, Elaine!
